Balance
Balance is a concept inspired by the urban ways of life. Here my idea is to bring to life ways of Good Health and Peace to every individual moving to keep up with the pace in this highly urban lifestyle.

The picture depicts the inner and outer i.e. the physical and mental state of a being, where by the physical posture reflects a very calm and quite behavior.
The reflection in the waters portrays the mental state of a being, where by, the ripples on the water depict the unbalanced and haphazard state of mind in the urban life.
Urban is a way of life such that each individual concentrates on everything other than “The Real SELF”
Finding the real peace within is a rare concept. With Urban Reflections I would like to propose to every individual goodness of health through use for these artifacts with jewellery quality those shall represent the characteristics of a balanced and harmonious life.

Balance is a collection of three objects, Fragile, Fragile Tranquility and Tranquil, designed to be used for Aroma Therapy,
Addressing the collaboration between man and machine, this collection is a narrative of the connection between human beings and the environment. It portrays their constant effort to balance within the surroundings, which initially is complex as they continue to procreate and build a chaotic atmosphere. Eventualy this makes it difficult to connect as we live within this urbanized habitat, utimately we start to feel the need for balance.
Inspiration for developing rippled texture on wooden blocks- series of tests for sampling included photoetching on metal, hand engraving, Raising & 3D model making.
Model Making using multiple processes- Hand engraving, CNC milling, Silicon moulding, vaccum forming & ceraminc 3D printing
Series of designs developed using Rhinocerus with flamingo proposed to be made using silver and walnut wood. This artifact is designed to be used as a Aroma dispenser with Reed Insense.
CNC milled ripple texture created on Mahogany. Sanded and sealed with Microcrystalline Wax.
Fragile:
The Object narrates the initial stage of Balance, where the connection of human beings to the environment is Very Fragile. The Wooden base is the organic form representing the earth which becomes more complex as humans continue to procreate a chaotic atmosphere, to a point where it starts to reflect on human mind, Ultimately making it difficult to connect and live within This Urbanized habitat.
